Nashville council reinstates expelled Tenn. House Dem

The Shelby County Commission is scheduled to reinstate the other expelled member on Wednesday.

The Nashville Metro Council voted Monday to reinstall Rep. Justin Jones (D) to his House seat after the Republican-led chamber expelled Jones and Rep. Justin Pearson (D) last week over a gun violence protest that the GOP argued violated the House rules.

The panel voted 36 to 0 in favor of returning Pearson back to the House.
