Nuclear energy set for more legislative action

But 2024 is unlikely to match this year’s ‘historic’ amount of legislation.

Lawmakers in both parties are preparing nuclear-related legislation for 2024 as they seek clean, safe and reliable energy solutions, though the action next year is unlikely to compare to a banner 2023.

Michigan Rep. Graham Filler (R) will introduce a nuclear package to help deploy the technology in the state. Maryland Sen. Benjamin Brooks (D) intends to introduce a bill to form a panel to study nuclear technology.
