States have flexibility in implementing new Medicaid cost-sharing rules

States will have significant leeway in determining new out-of-pocket health care costs for Medicaid enrollees under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. 

For some states, the best way to protect low-income families from new financial burdens will be to do nothing, according to a report released exclusively to Pluribus News by the AARP.
