States eye curbs on sports betting to address addiction

Some lawmakers are calling for new limits on sports betting almost a decade after the first states legalized it, saying the booming online gaming industry has sent addiction rates soaring.

Bills passed, pending and set to be introduced in several states would institute guardrails of varying degrees.
