Vermont enacts plug-in solar legislation

It’s the sixth state to do so this year, as bills in two more states await the governor’s signature.

Vermont Gov. Phil Scott signed legislation Tuesday that lowers hurdles for residents to use plug-in solar panels, making it the sixth state to do so this year.  

The move comes two weeks after Connecticut enacted similar legislation. Colorado, Maine, Maryland and Virginia enacted bills earlier this year.
