Gov race ratings: Plenty of intrigue in next tier

Nine races are rated either Likely Republican or Likely Democrat.

Yesterday, we rolled out our first ratings of gubernatorial contests that will appear on November ballots. We started with those that aren’t all that exciting — where one party has a clear, almost insurmountable advantage.

Today, we move on to the races in which one party has a clear edge but circumstances could conceivably change.
