Colo. legislators override local regulations to boost housing supply

In moves made just before the session’s Wednesday adjournment, Colorado legislators gave final approval to three bills that would override local regulations in a bid to increase the state’s housing supply.

Gov. Jared Polis (D), who has long supported lifting local rules that can hold back housing development, celebrated the bills’ progress Tuesday.
