7 energy and environment bills to watch in Virginia

Environment and energy advocates are closely watching the fate of at least seven bills Virginia legislators passed this session, including measures to increase access to renewable energy, increase efficiency and regulate data centers.

They’re among the more than 900 bills the Democratic-controlled General Assembly sent to Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R). He has until March 24 to sign or veto them.
