New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Utah lead the pack on embracing artificial intelligence, according to a report released Tuesday. 

Government AI Landscape Assessment,” produced by Code for America, a nonprofit that works with governments to modernize technologically, rated all 50 states plus the District of Columbia in three categories: AI leadership and governance; AI capacity building; and AI technical infrastructure and capabilities.
