The Japanese mini-truck craze spurring state lawmakers to act

Colorado and Texas enacted laws to allow kei vehicles on their roads.

States are moving to allow kei trucks, cars and vans — the increasingly popular diminutive vehicles from Japan — on their roads.

Colorado and Texas this year enacted Kei vehicle laws. A Georgia bill was passed but later vetoed. And bills were introduced in Massachusetts, Nevada, Oregon and Pennsylvania
