6 state climate bills get high marks from environmental group

The League of Conservation Voters highlighted them in a national report.

The League of Conservation Voters lauded six state pro-climate bills passed this year that the group said will reduce energy costs, deploy more clean energy, lower pollution and slow climate change.

LCV, a national environmental group with more than 30 state affiliates, heralded the measures and other policy successes at the state and local level in a report released Wednesday.
