Abortion hotlines launched as states respond to Dobbs

States seeking to bolster abortion rights are launching hotlines to connect patients to providers, transportation and legal support. 

In New Mexico, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) announced last week that her office set up a call center staffed by state Department of Health registered nurses who can answer questions and direct callers to reproductive health care providers within the state for care including abortion, family planning and testing for sexually transmitted infections.
