Ad opt-out bill introduced in California

It would be a first-in-the-nation law.

California’s consumer privacy agency is sponsoring legislation to make it easier for consumers to opt out of having their online data collected for purposes of targeted advertising.

If passed, it would be a first-in-the-nation law.
