Arkansas lawmakers revisit pro-crypto mining law

There was swift regret after the legislation was passed last year.

The Arkansas House gave final approval Wednesday to a pair of resolutions aimed at overhauling a year-old “right-to-mine” cryptocurrency law that has generated backlash from local communities.

The law was backed by Satoshi Action, a Bitcoin advocacy group that last year pushed a similar law in Montana and has promoted pro-mining legislation in multiple Republican-led states this year.
