Banning food dyes gains traction on the right

The politics of food dye bans is shifting.

Conservatives lawmakers in states across the country are aligning with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again agenda by backing legislation that prohibits synthetic ingredients in foods — something that previously may not have been at the top of Republican priority lists.
