California advances gas stove warning label bill

It’s one of at least three blue states considering similar legislation this year.

Blue states are considering legislation this year to require gas stoves to come with a warning label.

The California Assembly Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials Committee advanced a bill Tuesday on a 5-2 party-line vote. New York and Illinois are exploring similar legislation.
