Calif. hits EV sales goal 2 years ahead of schedule

California blew past its goal to have 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles sold by 2025.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) announced that the state reached that target, set in 2012 by then-Gov. Jerry Brown (D), two years ahead of schedule.
