Cameron leads Kentucky GOP field ahead of primary

A new poll released just days before voters head to the polls shows Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) with a significant lead over his Republican rivals in the race to take on Gov. Andy Beshear (D) this November.

The survey, conducted by Emerson College for Fox 56 Lexington, shows Cameron winning 33% of the Republican primary vote. He leads former Ambassador Kelly Craft (R), who scored 18%; Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles (R), who took 13%; and attorney Eric Deters (R), at 10%.
