Cameron picks state senator as Kentucky running mate

He described Robby Mills as ‘pro-coal, pro-life, pro-family.’

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) named Sen. Robby Mills (R) as his gubernatorial running mate, two months after winning the primary and with less than four months until the general election.

Cameron, who is challenging Gov. Andy Beshear (D), revealed his choice at a campaign event and in a short video on Wednesday. He described Mills, who represents a district in western Kentucky, as “pro-coal, pro-life, pro-family.”
