Colo. Senate majority leader introduces AI regulation bill

Colorado Senate Majority Leader Robert Rodriguez (D) has introduced an expansive artificial intelligence regulation bill modeled in part on legislation in Connecticut.

It is the latest example of an ambitious state-level effort to corral AI before the technology becomes more ubiquitous. Most states have opted to pursue narrower regulations focused on specific AI risks.
