Florida is first state to win federal approval to import drugs from Canada

Florida is the first state to win federal approval for its plan to import drugs from Canada.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Friday it is authorizing the state’s importation program, calling it “the first step on this pathway toward Florida facilitating importation of certain prescription drugs from Canada.”
