Governors embrace AI to boost services, jobs, efficiency

Governors in recent weeks announced a series of investments in artificial intelligence, as states seek to leverage the technology and train workers to use it.

The action comes after lawmakers across the country pushed during legislative sessions to place guardrails on AI and as the Trump administration warns of an AI innovation race with China.
