How Texas Republicans differ on education vouchers

Texas House Republicans took a turn Thursday night to unveil legislation to establish education-savings accounts, exposing rifts with the Senate and Gov. Greg Abbott (R) over exactly how to do it.

The House, led by Rep. Brad Buckley (R), drafted a broad package that includes a smaller ESA program along with increased school funding and teacher and staff pay raises.
