Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) leads Attorney General Daniel Cameron (R) by substantial margins a month before Election Day, according to two polls — including one from a conservative group allied with Cameron.
A poll conducted by Emerson College earlier this week found Beshear winning 49% of the vote, compared with just 33% for Cameron. That survey found Beshear winning independent voters by a 44% to 25% margin, and Beshear claims a healthy 28% among Republican voters.
