Lawmakers push for neural data protections as wearable devices surge

Two more states enacted laws this year.

Two more states enacted laws this year to protect people’s brain privacy, after California and Colorado passed first-in-the-nation protections last year. 

Lawmakers in Connecticut and Montana amended existing privacy laws to incorporate protections for neural data.
