Minn. Senate passes sweeping cannabis legalization bill

It would legalize recreational use, impose taxes on products and provide for expungement of certain convictions.

Minnesotans are one step closer to being able to smoke weed legally.

The Senate passed legislation Friday that would legalize recreational marijuana, create the Office of Cannabis Management to oversee the new market, impose taxes on cannabis and hemp products, and provide for expungement and resentencing of certain marijuana convictions.
