NGA pulls out of annual White House meeting after 2 Dems left out

‘The National Governors Association cannot participate in a meeting that does not welcome all governors.’

The National Governors Association will no longer facilitate an annual bipartisan working session at the White House on Friday in response to two Democratic governors being excluded by President Donald Trump.

The move comes more than a week after it was first reported that Colorado Gov. Jared Polis and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore had been disinvited from the event, and after some optimism that the president would relent.
