Q&A: Ingrid Duran, National Right to Life legislative director

Ingrid Duran tracked more than 1,000 abortion-related bills in the states during the 2023 legislative session, the first since the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that overturned the constitutional right to an abortion. 

With nearly 100 of those bills enacted, states have now established their intentions to limit or protect abortions, said Duran, director of state legislation for the National Right to Life Committee, one of the oldest anti-abortion groups in the country.
