A five-year-old energy law connected to Ohio’s most notorious bribery scheme continues to cast a long shadow over legislative action in the state.

Legislators this year introduced nearly 30 bills related to energy and the environment, with the law known as H.B. 6 — which took down a former state House speaker — hanging over it all.
