States step in to fund Planned Parenthood after federal cuts

Colorado and Washington will fully reimburse the organization for non-abortion services to Medicaid patients.

Colorado and Washington state leaders have committed to fully reimbursing Planned Parenthood for providing non-abortion services to Medicaid patients, after Congress in July eliminated the federal reimbursement share. 

Massachusetts leaders have opted to spend $2 million to help fund the nonprofit’s non-abortion services.
