Wash. Gov. Inslee won’t seek 4th term

Inslee’s exit is likely to entice prominent Democrats to run.

After three terms, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) says he is ready to “pass the torch” and will not run for an unprecedented fourth term.

Inslee, 72, made his announcement Monday. His current four-term term ends in January 2025.
