Wyo., Utah health bills could foreshadow moves in other red states

They focused on rural health, abortion and prior authorization.

Wyoming and Utah legislators passed bills ahead of legislative deadlines last week aimed at improving rural health infrastructure, joining a broader national push to shore up rural health systems as closures and workforce shortages continue.

Other greenlit health care bills touched on abortion restrictions and insurance rules governing prior authorization for care.
